Guru Stuti

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः |
गुरुर्साक्षात परब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः ||

TRANSLATION:
Salutations to noble teacher who is Brahma, Visnu and Lord Parmeshwara and who is verily the Supreme Brahman.
(The Guru is like Lord Brahma because he creates the character in children. He is like Lord Vishnu because he protests the good qualities in his students. he is like Lord Maheshwara because he destroys the evil mood and bad qualities in them).

कुछ बात है की हस्ती मिटती नही हमारी
सदियो रहा है दुश्मन दौर-ए-जमान हमारा |
