Description : Navratri Celebration: A Blend of Devotion, Dance and Tradition** ✨
Our school celebrated the vibrant festival of Navratri with great enthusiasm and festive fervour through a joyful Dandiya and Garba Celebration, bringing together devotion, culture, and togetherness.
The programme commenced with the auspicious Kanya Poojan, performed by our respected Principal Ma’am, Ms. Pooja Sehgal. The ritual honoured the nine divine forms of Maa Durga and conveyed the beautiful message that every woman embodies the strength, grace, and divine feminine energy of the Goddess. It reminded everyone to respect, empower, and value every girl and woman.
The major highlight of the programme was the vibrant Garba dance presented by our students , who mesmerised everyone with their graceful movements, colourful traditional attire, and infectious energy. Another heartwarming moment was the special dance performance by mothers along with their children, beautifully portraying the bond of love, affection, and togetherness.
The celebration also carried an important social message, encouraging everyone to celebrate festivals responsibly by protecting the environment and avoiding excessive firecrackers during Diwali. Students highlighted how small, thoughtful choices can make a meaningful difference, including supporting local artisans and small shopkeepers by purchasing traditional earthen diyas from them. Such simple acts help preserve our cultural heritage while spreading happiness within our communities.
The occasion beautifully reflected the true spirit of Navratri, reminding us of the importance of faith, respect, unity, environmental responsibility, and compassion for all.
May the blessings of Maa Durga continue to guide us towards happiness, courage, and prosperity.
