JSS Inter-School English Competition
Description : Today, on August 2, 2025, Kanya Kubja Public School proudly hosted the JSS Inter-School English Competition, a vibrant and intellectually enriching event that brought together talented students from various schools.
Participating schools included Escort World School, Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Kidwai Nagar, Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Shyam Nagar, Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Jajmau, Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Unnao, Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Kalyanpur, Youhe Public School, Seth Anandram Jaipuriya School, New Jajmau, Dr. Soney Lal Patel Public School, JMD World School, SGM International School, and the host school, Kanya Kubja Public School, Mall Road.
The competition featured a range of captivating events — Poetry Recitation, Storytelling, Elocution, and Debate — in which participants displayed remarkable command over the English language, confident stage presence, and creative expression.
Dr. Shobha Singh, Assistant Professor (English), Armapur P.G. College; Dr. Anju Sachan, Professor (English), Jagran College of Arts, Science and Commerce; and Dr. Kashish, Assistant Professor, English Department, Juhari Devi Girls' P.G. College were our esteemed judges, lending their expertise and guidance to the event.
The program began on an auspicious note with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by our distinguished judges and respected Principal, Ms. Pooja Sehgal. This was followed by a heartfelt welcome address and the presentation of mementos to the judges as a token of gratitude.
The day witnessed a spirited atmosphere filled with eloquence, critical thinking, and artistic flair — truly celebrating the essence of language and expression through healthy competition and camaraderie.
All the winners were awarded trophies and certificates by our esteemed judges and Principal Ma’am Ms. Pooja Sehgal in recognition of their outstanding achievements and commendable performances.
