Republic Day Celebration

Kanyakubja Public School celebrated the 75th Republic Day with great enthusiasm. The celebration began with the flag unfurling ceremony, conducted by our respected Principal, Ms. Pooja Sehgal. Following the unfurling of the tricolor, the national anthem was sung by all present, filling the air with pride and patriotism. A special morning assembly was held a day before Republic Day to commemorate the importance of the occasion.
The occasion was further marked by inspiring speeches delivered by our students, who spoke eloquently about the significance of Republic Day. A student from class 7th then led a series of powerful slogans, igniting a sense of unity and national pride. Our young students from classes 1 and 2 took the stage next, showcasing the national symbols, educating the audience about their importance.The cultural program continued with a beautiful patriotic poem, presented by one of our primary students, which was met with applause and appreciation. Senior students contributed by introducing the members of the Constituent Assembly, highlighting their dedication and role in shaping the nation’s constitution.
In a display of unity, all students took part in reciting the Preamble of the Constitution, pledging to uphold the values of justice, liberty, and equality. To conclude the event, the school choir performed the patriotic song Desh Pehle, filling everyone with a renewed sense of love for the country.
Principal Ms. Pooja Sehgal addressed the gathering, wishing everyone a joyous Republic Day. She spoke about the importance of the day, reminding the students and staff of the values enshrined in the Constitution and the responsibility of every citizen in upholding the principles of democracy. Different Competitions were also conducted for the students.
The entire two day event was a fitting tribute to the spirit of the Republic, leaving everyone present with a deep sense of pride and patriotism.
