Community Outreach Program In Slum

The Socio-Eco club members of KanyaKubja Public School visited for a Community Outreach Program at nearby Slum to create awareness regarding cleanliness among the slum dwellers.
Students from classes VI to XII visited the nearby slum area to demonstrate the necessity of cleanliness and hygiene among the people living in poor conditions.
The students discussed the need for hygiene and sanitation in today’s world where the diseases are spreading at fast pace and these need to be prevented to live a healthy life.
Students talked about various ways in which the hygiene can be maintained by the slum dwellers and also distributed the woolen clothes to them warm during this winter season.
The idea behind this visit was to make students aware of the problems being faced by slum-dwellers and arousing in them a sense of love and altruism for these people.
